Movie production company highlands ranch4/15/2024 #BroadwayStar #Inspiration #BlackExcellence □□ #aishajackson Don’t be afraid to share it.” - Aisha Jackson “Your story is someone else’s hope and inspiration. Let's honor her remarkable contributions to the stage and beyond! □ Her journey is an inspiration to aspiring artists everywhere. And recently, she played the role of ‘Snow White’ in the world premiere of the Britney Spears musical “Once Upon a One More Time”. She has had unforgettable Broadway and National Tour performances in “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical”, “Frozen”, “Waitress” and off-Broadway’s “ Invisible Thread”. □✨ □ Raised in College Park, GA, and a graduate of The University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, join us in celebrating Aisha Jackson this #BlackHistoryMonth! I decided my health wasn't work it so now I work a job that 10x more physically demanding and I'm happier for it.“In Frozen, I had the joy to standby for the role of Anna and the beautiful responsibility to show my little chocolate drops that they too can be princesses! I made history as the first Black woman to play the role on Broadway.” - Aisha Jackson Blowing an hour both ways on bike to get to work risking my life among cars but then being DT where shootings started really picking up two blocks away. I loved my coworkers (not romantically they were just cool people), but when I can run a business by hand (like the smaller theater in Mi with only 6 screens) and I'm only payed minimum wage, it makes the job logistically impossible to complete. That'll SURELY bring in the profits, right? Like cool just never reinvest into this business as time goes on now that you've bought it. Did I mention the business is using old ass equipment that regularly has problems & slowdowns? You can't use apple pay or tap to pay. Walls are peeling, half the shit doesn't work, they only started bringing maintinence in regularly during my last weeks, and there was constant inventory issues thanks to a lack of modernized budgeting. It's revealed to me finally that companies are doing what companies do because unlike other places where movie theaters could be a vital part of the night life, or the only form of media entertainment outside of home for kids, this one is just the corpse of a 20 year old business being taken advantage of by a megaconglomerate. I could run that business by myself if it weren't a place for tan suits to go and feel good about themselves because they want to be called "royalty". Worked in the one in the center of 16th steet from dec-june starting last year and not to be a hater but that (overarching, not the business as it actually exists) company does not give a shit and will continue to make worse and worse decisions without any real tangible improvements because they are part of the big movie oligarchy. I still want to go to the movies! Is there a good theater left? And, as an aside, I just got back from vacation, and this is not just happening in Denver (I was in Missouri). I get that times are hard, but this is not how to "hold on" this is how to lose your audience. To be honest, AMC theaters seem to be the worst lately. But even I hesitate to pay the steep prices when I consider my experiences in the past year (especially this summer). This is a service industry and if they keep delivering this kind of service, people are not going to enjoy going to the movies. To be honest, I am not sure what is going on. A lot! These days, though, every time I go to the movies there are fewer workers - I have literally seated myself without ever seeing anyone (at River North & Colorado UA on I-25), fewer working sinks and toilets (at Bowles Crossing), more popcorn all over the ground (at Highlands Ranch), more sticky floors (at Bel Mar), more broken seats and plain dirtiness (at Colorado Mills).
